Why pills do not solve the problem

Imagine a warning light coming on in your car. The fastest way to get rid of it is to unscrew the bulb. Formally the problem is gone: the dashboard is clean, nothing is flashing. In practice you are driving with a fault nobody will warn you about again.
What a pill does
Pharmacology is very good at switching the signal off. Numb the pain, calm you down, put you to sleep, raise the blood pressure, lower the blood pressure. This is genuinely needed — in acute conditions, in intensive care, in serious diagnoses. But when a drug becomes the only answer to a chronic state, we are simply unscrewing bulbs one after another.
A month of relief is not recovery. It is a postponement.
Where the cause goes
The cause does not go anywhere. It changes address. Silence the anxiety and insomnia arrives. Remove the insomnia and gastritis appears. The patient moves from specialist to specialist, collecting diagnoses and becoming more and more convinced that something is wrong with them for life.
In fact nothing is wrong with them. It is just that nobody has yet asked the question their body is trying to answer with a symptom.
Work without medication starts exactly here — with a question rather than a prescription.
